Command View for Tape Libraries or the Interface Manager CLI FRU wizard won’t
discover all interface controllers
Symptom: FRU wizard does not display or discover all the replacement boards in the list.
Workaround: Run the FRU replacement wizard as usual, then wait for the library’s status to turn green
for the affected Interface Controllers. Next, reboot the Interface Manager and wait for the Interface

Command View for Tape Libraries indicates intermittent connectivity to the library
Symptom: EML and ESL E-Series Tape Libraries shipped before November 2007 may require a RAM
upgrade to work properly with i272 firmware. Without sufficient RAM on the Interface Manager card,
Command View for Tape libraries might have issues staying connected to the library.
Workaround: A customer-installable RAM upgrade can be ordered as HP part number 464581-001
from the HP Parts Store (http://www.hp.com/buy/parts) or PartSurfer (http://partsurfer.hp.com). After
replacing the part using the included instructions, remove and re-add the library on the Command
View for Tape Libraries Launcher screen.
