In subsection 1-3-4 , if communication between the management server and the storage
management Client terminal is protected by SSL and SSL is provided by HP StorageWorks XP
Command View Advanced Edition Common Component, specify the required settings after
installation. For the procedure, see the applicable reference in the following table.

Edition Common Component
After installing HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Common Component, verify
that the version is the correct version. First, at the command prompt of the management server on
which you installed HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Common Component,
move to the following directory.
In Linux:
<folder -where HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Common Component-is -
installed>/bin
Then enter the following command.
hcmdsbasevrs
A character string in the following format is displayed in response to the command:
6.0.0-01
Make sure that 6.0.0-01.
Specify the following parameters on the server on which HP StorageWorks XP Command View
Advanced Edition Common Component is installed.
(1) Using a text editor, open the following file:
HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition Common Component-installation-
folder\conf\user.conf
If this file does not exist, create it.
(2) Change the line starting with USER.AccessControl= as shown below:
