A system creator is responsible for all operations that occur during system creation and operation.
Therefore, the person selected as the system creator must be a reliable person who will not commit
any malicious acts.
The selected system creator must prepare as follows before starting system creation or operation:
• Read the manuals for the machine on which HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced
Edition will be installed and the manuals for network devices, including firewalls, and fully
understand the installation, operation, and management of the hardware used in the system.
• Read the HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced Edition software manuals and fully
understand their contents.
• Read this guide and fully understand the HP StorageWorks XP Command View Advanced
Edition Common Component security functions.
When creating or operating the system, the system creator must perform the procedure described in
this guide.
