GetPoolShrinkStatus
The GetPoolShrinkStatus command obtains the execution status of the THP-pool shrinking
operation that was executed by the ShrinkPool command.
If you execute this command, the information of the THP pool volumes that belong to the THP pool is
displayed.
After the operation for shrinking the THP pool finishes, the excluded THP pool volumes change to
normal volumes and will not appear in the execution result of this command.
When all of the THP pool volumes change to normal volumes that belong to the THP pool specified
by the ShrinkPool command (when no corresponding LogicalUnit instances are displayed),
use the FormatLU command to format the volumes.
NOTE:
This command can be used only with P9500.
While the THP-pool shrinking operation is being executed, if another operation is performed on
the pool and the pool changes to a status in which the pool cannot shrink, the THP-pool shrinking
operation fails. As a result, the THP pool volumes to be excluded might partially remain as they
are, without being excluded. In this case, do not execute the FormatLU command for these
volumes.
The storage system is locked while this command is being executed. For this reason, do not execute
this command repeatedly.
