Device Manager CLI commands that can be executed while a storage system is locked are described
in AddArrayReservation of the HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite
Software CLI Reference Guide and the following Device Manager CLI commands:
DeleteExternalArrayGroup
ShrinkPool
In addition, a user who has just locked the storage system cannot execute the CLI
AddArrayReservation command.
Operating the Device Manager GUI
Before completion of drawing a view, do not operate anything for it. If you do so, an unexpected
error such as KAIC16009-Emight occur. If this occurs, try the operation again. If this symptom
continuously occurs, login in to the Device Manager again and retry the operation.
View of virtual machine information in Delete Storage window
When a volume is mapped to a virtual machine as a Raw device, information on a virtual machine
mapped the volume might not be displayed in the Delete Storage window of Plug-in for Virtualization
Server Provisioning.
If this occurs, confirm the configuration of the virtual machine with VMware vSphere Client.
KAIC05607-E or KAIC06400-E error during Migrate Data operation
If the KAIC05607-E or KAIC06400-E error occurs during a Migrate Data operation, some of the
configuration changes might be applied to the storage system. Therefore, the content of the Task Status
displayed in the Migration pairs table on a Task Details dialog of Migrate Data might not correspond
to the configuration of the storage system. If this occurs, refresh the storage system information and
check the current storage system configuration. After that, perform the Migrate Data operation again
using the recent Task Status and the configuration of the storage system.
