is still not cancelled. Check the status of all tasks, and then cancel the task manually. If the task is not
cancelled, the task might not execute.
Setting and using storage resource access control
If any of the operations listed below are performed, and then other Device Manager operations are
performed, the windows might be displayed incorrectly or a KAIC15001-E error might occur. If this
occurs, restart the Device Manager server.
Storage resource access control is simultaneously specified for multiple users.
When resource group settings and configuration changes are performed at the same time for the
same resource from the Device Manager CLI, Tiered Storage Manager, or Replication Manger.

successfully.
Refreshing storage systems with the GUI
To refresh storage systems with the GUI, make sure that the total LDEVs of storage systems in a task
for registration and the running task does not exceed 128,000.

Make sure that the microcode version of the P9500 storage system is 70-02-00-XX/XX or later before
using copy groups defined by device groups.
Using a virtual command device and managing copy pairs from Replication Manager
If a Replication Manager license is not registered, a virtual command device is used, and copy pairs
are managed, the following condition must be met:
When copy pairs are configured using Virtual Storage Platform volumes, resource groups must
be configured using storage systems, not LDEV IDs.
If the above condition is not met, displaying the following Replication Manager windows might be
slow:
All windows in the Pair Configurations view
All windows in the Pair Configuration Wizard
Subtarget parameter of GetLogicalGroup command by the CLI
In the GetLogicalGroup command, only Path is valid for the subtarget parameter. Host and
HostStorageDomain are invalid for the parameter.
To confirm hosts contained in logical groups, use the GUI.
Allocate Smart Tiers Software volumes
To allocate Smart Tiers Software volumes that have been allocated to hosts, perform either of the
following operations:
Allocate volumes from the search result window
