NOTE: Installing the Device Manager 7.1.1-01 installs Tiered Storage Manager 7.1.1-01
automatically. Installing the Tiered Storage Manager 7.1.1-01 Service Pack requires installing the
Device Manager 7.1.1-01 Service Pack separately. You can install these Service Packs in any order.

Enhancements
• The GUI now supports functionality for changing the IP address, user ID, and password for
virtualization servers registered in Device Manager.
• The Smart Tier function in the P9500 now supports a function for specifying the hardware tier to
place THP volumes in.
• Volumes assigned to Fibre Channel over Ethernet interfaces in the P9500 can now be used by
the following functions:

◦ Volume Migration
