If this error occurs repeatedly, confirm whether the server is started.

• The Device Manager server now supports the virtual server product VMware ESX/ESXi 4.1 update

In an x86_64 environment, the following RPM (Red Hat Package Manager) package listed below

is required. Install the following RPM package before installing the Device Manager agent:

glibc-<RPM-package-version>.i686.rpm

specify the value of the parameter poll of HORCM_CM in the CCI configuration file.
