Replication Manager Application Agent:
In Replication Manager Application Agent earlier than 6.4.0-00:
When using VMware 4.0 or later, configure the backup server on a non-virtual machine.
In Replication Manager Application Agent 6.4.0-00 or later:
Database servers configured on a virtual machine are supported if VMware 4.0 or later is used.
Backup servers configured on a virtual machine are supported if all of the following conditions
are met:
The backup target is SQL Server.
The secondary volume is a single generation.
On the Replica Options tab (under the Setup Agent of the backup server), the check box
Perform the following operation when finishing the setup is not selected (the default).
If these conditions are not met, configure the backup server on a non-virtual machine.
Creating XP Snapshot and Business Copy/Snapshot
When XP Snapshot and Business Copy/Snapshot are created by using the CLI, the same volume
cannot be used by XP Snapshot and Business Copy/Snapshot.
Filtering function of Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning
If five or more filter condition are set in the filtering function of the Tasks tab, the label name (Attribute,
Value) is not displayed, but the filtering function remains in effect.
Updating the display information of Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning
If an operation on the VMware ESX server or on a storage system is performed, the information
displayed by Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning might not be updated.
If the display information is not updated, log in to Plug-in for Virtualization Server Provisioning again.
Capacity information in the Plan Confirmation window of Plug-in for Virtualization Server
Provisioning
When a user executes an addstorage operation specifying a capacity that includes a value below the
decimal point, the capacity information in the Plan Confirmation window might be different from the
capacity specified by the user.
However, the value entered by the user is displayed in VMware vSphere Client.
Sorting of the Copy Info column
The sorting on the Copy Info (P-VOL) column and the Copy Info (S-VOL) column are linked when the
columns are sorted. When either header of the two columns is clicked, the values of both columns are
sorted in alphabetical order.
Length of the host group name
A host group name whose length is 33 or more characters cannot be set for Allocate Volumes dialog
box and Virtualize Volumes dialog box in P9500.
Modifying the setting of the resource group and role to an external authentication group
The setting of the resource group and role cannot be modified to the external authentication group
including the following character string in the group name with the Edit User Group dialog box.
