HP StorageWorks P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite Software 7.1.1 Installation and Configuration Guide (TB581-96063, September 2011)

In the Add or Remove Programs window, select Device Manager agent.
Click Remove.
Change directories to Device-Manager-agent-installation-folder\bin\ and run
agent_uninstShortcut.bat.
For Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2:
In the Server Core environment, enter the following command at the prompt that displays when
you log in: agent_uninstShortcut.bat.
When Device Manager agent is removed, the InstallShield Wizard Completed window appears.
NOTE:
The following tasks that run the HiScan command remain after you remove Device Manager agent.
Remove them manually:
Any task that runs exeHiScan.bat with a schedule that was changed in the Scheduled Tasks
window that opens from the Control Panel.
Any task that runs exeHiScan.bat that is registered in Windows.

Removing a Device Manager agent from a UNIX host
You remove Device Manager agent from a UNIX host by using the command line.
To remove the Device Manager agent:
1. Log on to UNIX as the root user.
2. At the command line, enter the following:
For Solaris, Linux or HP-UX:
# /opt/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/.uninstall.sh
For AIX:
# /usr/HDVM/HBaseAgent/bin/.uninstall.sh
3. Follow the instructions on the screen.
When the Device Manager agent is removed, the following message appears:
Device Manager - Agent removed successfully.
