No. Problem Solution
5 DESCRIPTION: An error occurs during
Device Manager server installation.
CAUSE: There is an error in the
environment or settings on the installation
destination machine.
SOLUTION: If an error occurs during the Device
Manager server installation, take one or more of
the following actions. If you cannot resolve the
problem, contact maintenance personnel.
1 Use the cvxpaegetlogs command to
collect maintenance information

2 Back up the database and property files if
they have not been backed up already

other XP Command View AE Suite products
are installed, see the documentation of the
appropriate product when performing backup.
3 Reboot the system.
4 In Windows, delete the following folders if
they exist:
The folder set for the temp environment
variable of the installation user:

Example: C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local

The following folder directly under the startup

Device Manager server:

5 Perform one of the following, based on the
type of installation:
When an attempt to perform a new
installation fails:
Perform uninstallation. Reboot the system,
and then install again.
When an attempt to perform an upgrade
installation fails:
Perform uninstallation. Reboot the system,
and then perform a new installation again.
Then, restore any backed-up data
