The Device Manager server supports both IPv4 and IPv6. For details on operations in an IPv6
environment, see section
2-6 .
When using one Device Manager server, it is not possible to use separate storage partitions
with different storage administrator accounts. If you want to manage individual storage
partitions, a Device Manager server is required for each storage partition.
The estimated installation time is 20 to 30 minutes, for a new installation on a machine
configured as follows:
OS: Windows 2003 Server SP1
Processor: Xeon (2.0 GHz)
Memory: 4 GB
