CAUTION: You must not execute multiple instances of this command concurrently. Also, you
must not execute this command and the cvxpaegetlogs command concurrently.
IMPORTANT: For details about how to set the port that HiRDB uses, see subsection
5-4-2 .
8. If Common Component is running, execute the following command to stop it :
<common component installation folder>\bin\hcmdssrv /stop
The following shows an example of executing the command:
C:\Program Files\CVXPAE\Base\bin\hcmdssrv /stop
9. In the Services screen, open the properties for the following services, and then change Startup
Type from Automatic to Manual:
HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service
HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service
DeviceManagerServer
3-3-3-3 Configuring the Microsoft cluster service during a new installation
1. Open the Cluster Administrator:
Select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Cluster Administrator.
2. If there is an existing group in which to register the Device Manager service, select that group. If
there is not, create one:
Resource type: IP address
Logical host name: Network name
Resource Group: Physical disk
Register HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service, HBase Storage Mgmt Web Service,
DeviceManagerServer, and HiRDB as resources.
Use only resources related to XP Command View AE Suite to configure the resource group.
3. Register HiRDB as a resource:
Select New > Resource.
New Resource:
Name: HiRDB (optional)
Resource type: Generic Service
Possible Owners: Make sure that the executing and standby nodes have been added.
Dependencies: Register the drive of the shared disk drive and network name.
Generic Service Parameters:
Service name: HiRDBClusterService_HD0
Start parameters: Specify nothing.
Registry Replication: Specify nothing.
Select Finish.
4. Settings for Registering the HBase Storage Mgmt Common Service as a resource:
Select New > Resource.
New Resource:
Name: Mgmt Common Service (optional)
Resource type: Generic Service
Possible Owners: Make sure that the executing and standby nodes have been added.
