Error Code Error Message Description and Recommended Action
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64001-E A logical volume already exists on the
specified physical volume.
Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64003-E Logical volumes or physical volumes exist in
the specified volume group.
Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated, or there is an unnecessary logical volume
or physical volume in the specified volume group.
Action: No action is required because recovery is
performed internally in Provisioning Manager.
KARF64004-E A mount point exists on the specified drive. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64005-I The logical volume name will be handled as
'*'.
Cause: -
Action: No action is required.
KARF64006-E The physical volume name is invalid. Cause: The request was made with an invalid
value.
Action: Acquire the error information for
Provisioning Manager and Device Manager, and
then contact the Support Center.
KARF64007-E The specified logical volume already exists. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: No action is required because recovery is
performed internally in Provisioning Manager.
KARF64008-E The specified logical volume does not exist. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64009-E The specified logical volume size is invalid. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64010-E The specified physical volume is already in
use.
Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated. Or the requested operation is invalid to a
host's system configuration.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64011-E The specified physical volume does not exist. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
the operation.
KARF64012-E The specified volume group already exists. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated, or the requested operation is invalid in
the host's system configuration.
Action: No action is required because recovery is
performed internally in Provisioning Manager.
KARF64013-E The specified volume group does not exist. Cause: The host information recognized by the
Provisioning Manager server has not been
updated.
Action: Refresh the host information, and then retry
