2-4 Starting Provisioning Manager Operation
After you have logged in to the Provisioning Manager server, you can start Provisioning Manager operation.
You can access all the functionality from the main window of Provisioning Manager.
To start Provisioning Manager operations:
1. Log in to Provisioning Manager. The List Objects - Provisioning Manager subwindow is displayed (see
Figure 2-6).
2. Select an object from the Object List table in the information frame (lower right). You can select an object
in the navigation frame (left frame) to start operations as well. The following describes the operations
when you select an object from the Object List table in the information frame (lower right):
• To manage storage pools, select Storage Pool. For details about managing storage pools, see
section 3-1 .
• When you want to view the basic information of the host or manage the file system and the device
file, select Hosts.

For details about managing file systems, see section
3-4 .
For details about managing device files, see section
3-5 .
• When you want to manage the provisioning plan, select Provisioning Plans.
For details on managing provisioning plans, see section

• When you want to view the operation history, select Transaction Logs.
