4. After specifying User Group, click the Show Information button. The storage pool information is displayed
according to the following scope (see
Figure 5-5):
• Storage pool information for the child groups of the user groups selected in User Group
• Storage pool information for the user groups set in User Group
• Child group storage pool information, including grandchild groups
IMPORTANT: The sum of the storage sizes of new groups and child groups that include the
contents of grandchild groups equals the sum of new groups that include child groups. However, if
there are multiple child groups, and if the access scopes of the child groups overlap, the contents of
new groups and child groups that include the contents of grandchild groups are larger than that of
new groups that include child groups. For details, see section
5-1 .
NOTE: When you click the Show Information button of the Storage Pool (Including Size of Child
Groups) - child-group-name table, the Show Properties - Storage Pool subwindow switches,
allowing you to view the child group storage pool information including the grandchild group
contents, and the child group storage pool information not including the grandchild group contents,
as well as all the storage pool information for the grandchild groups.
