HP XP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite Software 7.6.0-00 Installation and Configuration Guide

4 Removing Command View AE Suite
This module describes how to remove Command View AE Suite and its components.
Removing Command View AE Suite server
You can remove Command View AE Suite when you no longer need to manage storage systems and
hosts.
Removing Command View AE Suite deletes all properties files, database files, log files, and other
files as well. In addition, files and folders created by the user under the Command View AE Suite
installation folder are also deleted when Command View AE Suite is removed.
NOTE:
The Common Component files are deleted only if there are no products that require Common
Component on the management servers.
If a stand-alone installation of Host Data Collector has been performed previously, some folders
and files might remain even if Command View AE Suite is removed. In this case, remove Host
Data Collector alone.
Prerequisites for removing Command View AE Suite server
If you are installing Command View AE Suite on another management server, or if you are continuing
system operation with Command View AE Suite products installed on a different system, export the
database before removing Command View AE Suite.
