Fixes
The following issues were resolved:
• Even if the HP XP P9000 Command View Advanced Edition Suite product uses Oracle JDK 7, the
following operations are successful and do not generate a KAVN00506-E or KAVN02386-E
message:
◦ Registering a Device Manager installed on a remote server as an information source.
◦ Refreshing the configuration information for a Device Manager installed on a remote server
and registered as an information source.
◦ Automatic processing to synchronize configuration information with the Device Manager
installed on a local server.
• In a redundant-pair management server configuration, when you attempt to delete an XP P9000/XP
Continuous Access Journal copy pair node or XP P9000/XP Continuous Access Journal copy pair
in the Pair Configuration Wizard in HP XP P9500, the attempt succeeds, and the KAVN00575-E
(RPM-00473) message is not generated.
• Even if the total number of HP XP P9500 volumes recognized by the Device Manager installed
on a local server is 750,000 or more, synchronization of the configuration information is successful,
and a KAVN02386-E message is not generated.
• If a mainframe host has been registered as a pair management server in any of the sites listed in
Sites in Shared Views, and you select one or more volumes managed by Device Manager, and
then open the Pair Configuration Wizard, the Create Group dialog box opens successfully, the
KAVN00209-E message is not generated, and a copy group can be created.
• If you edit a task that adds a copy pair to an existing Continuous Access Synchronous copy group
in the Edit Task dialog box and Assign CTG is not set in the Pair Operation options, if you then
execute that task, the task is successfully executed, and a KAVN00469-E (RPM-03327) message
is not generated.
• Mainframe nodes for all corresponding mainframe volumes in the storage systems are now properly
displayed for storage systems in the storage system tree.
• In the Edit Journal Group Settings dialog box, the journal volume candidate is now displayed in
the Free Volumes list, and journal volumes can now be added, even if journal volumes whose
CLPR is a value other than zero are registered in the target journal group.
• Even if 9,000 or more LUNs belong to the target copy group in the Pair Configuration Wizard,
an operation to save the workflow or to complete the wizard is successful, and an RPM-00856
message is not generated.
• The volume candidates are displayed correctly in the 2. Pair Association page of the Pair
Configuration Wizard, even if there are 2,000 or more copy pairs in the target copy group.
• In the Confirm window of the Change Pair Status Wizard, registration of a task is successful and
an RPM-00821 message is not generated, even if there are 2,000 or more copy pairs in the
target copy group.
