HP XP7 Replication Manager 8.0.0-01 Release Notes

If the copy pair operation mode for RAID Manager is not set, the copy pair operation mode for the
storage system is set.
User scripts specified when executing backup commands for Application Agent or when
creating a database replica
In a configuration that contains multiple database servers and one backup server, if you simultaneously
execute backup operations or replication creation operations, and the operations specify execution
of a user script from multiple database servers, the user scripts are not executed in parallel. The user
scripts are executed in order when the backup server receives a request.
Java Development Kit 1.8.0
When the hcmds64chgjdk command is executed, the following options are displayed:
"Use Java Development Kit 1.8.0" This option is not supported.
"Set the installation path to a Java Development Kit." Specifying the path to the installed JDK8
is not supported.
Naming the Fast Snap snapshot group
When you create a Fast Snap snapshot group, you can use the following characters in the name of
the Snapshot Group:
0-9
A-Z
a-z
: (colon)
- (hyphen)
. (period)
, (comma)
@
_ (underline)
space character
If the name of a Snapshot Group contains a character that is not specified in the list above, pair
operations cannot be performed for that snapshot group, and the name of the snapshot group cannot
be displayed.
NOTE: A snapshot group name cannot contain spaces before or after the name.
The options for the copy pair operation
For a copy group, the quick mode settings (the Quick Split, Quick Resync, and Quick Restore options
for the copy pair operation) must match the host's or the pair management server's RAID Manager
copy pair environment variable settings. In addition, the array storage system option mode settings
must be compatible with the Replication Manager and RAID Manager "quick" settings. If you execute
a task for the copy pair operation when the quick settings do not match, the executed task might
not complete, and the KAVN00455-E message or the KAVN00456-E message might be output.
Using Internet Explorer 11.0
When you click a button or shortcut on the screen to open a new tab or new window, an extra blank
window or transitional window might be displayed at the same time. In such a case, close the
unnecessary window. If this issue occurs repeatedly, create a new Windows user account, and then
use the new user account to operate the browser.
