Logical Volume Manager (LVM) software:
Install LVM Version B.11.31.1010 from the HP Software Depot:
http://software.hp.com
To locate LVM, search for the keyword LVM.
HP recommends that you review the support matrices from your third-party hypervisor vendor to
verify their current list of supported operating systems.
Table 59 (page 62) lists the supported versions of Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager
(SCVMM) and VMware vCenter Server (formerly VMware Virtual Center Server) on managed
systems. SCVMM enables the migration of Hyper-V virtual machines; VMware vCenter enables
the migration of VMware virtual machines.
Insight Control virtual machine management requires hosts to be registered with the vCenter server
in order to be fully functional for managing that host. Likewise, Matrix OE requires hosts to be
registered with Insight Control virtual machine management (and in turn with a vCenter server) in
order to fully manage the host and guests and to deploy new guests.
