HP Insight Management Installer
HP Insight Management Installer for the 7.3 release includes product enhancements. The following
is a list of changes that are applicable for the HP Insight Management 7.3 release.
• Supports a direct upgrade to Insight Management version 7.3 only from 6.3 or later.
• Supports Simplified Chinese language.
• Supports Microsoft Internet Explorer 11
• Supports the following new operating system:
Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 R2 Standard and Datacenter editions.◦
• Removes Insight Control server deployment, HP Insight Control server deployment SIM
Integration module and HP Insight Control server deployment Quiesce SIM Plug-in
• Requires installation of HP Matrix Operating Environment capacity planning, configuration
and workload management and HP Insight Capacity Advisor Consolidation software prior to
installation of HP Storage Provisioning Manager.
Enhancements
Starting version 7.3 Update 1, HP Insight Management Advisor supports Microsoft Internet Explorer
version 11 in full mode.
