2. Open the registry editor, and export the following key (009 is
the English default key):
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\Perflib\009
Default keys for other languages: French is 00C, Spanish is
00A, and German is 007.
3. Notice the empty 00x key in the same location. This is where
you must import the values.
4. Edit the exported registry file, and replace the value 009 with
the value 007.
5. Save the changed .reg file, and import it back by double
clicking this same file.
6. Attempt the installation again. The SQL Express step should now
succeed.

Known issues and fixes for 7.3 Update 1
Abnormal behavior for patch updates on multiple windows
When the user enables and tries to run the 7.3 Update 1 patch installer on multiple windows, the
installer may fail returning a blocker message.
To resolve this issue, user must not run the patch installer in multiple window login sessions at a
time to install 7.3 Update 1 patch.
HP Insight Control server deployment
Insight Control server deployment drops support for LinPE 32 bit
Starting 7.3 Update 1, Insight Control Server Deployment does not support LinPE 32–bit version
of the operating system.
To resolve this issue, deploy jobs using LinPE 64–bit operating system.
Unsuccessful deployment of Linux jobs (SLES, RHEL, and ESX) with hard disk size of 1 TB or higher
The Insight Control server deployment of Linux jobs (SLES, RHEL, and ESX) with hard disk size of
1 TB or higher fails returning the following error message:
GRUB loading, please wait... Error 17.
To resolve this issue:
1. Navigate to the Deployment console.
2. Select the Deploy SLES x.x or Deploy RHEL x.x jobs from the job panel.
3. Select Distribute Disk Image and click Modify.
4. Click Advanced under the Automation preboot Environment and navigate to the Resizing tab
on Distribute Disk Image Advanced panel.
