HP Storage Provisioning Manager (SPM) Version 1.2 User Guide

HP Services, the Insight Dynamics infrastructure orchestration capabilities can be used to automate
storage operations through OO workflows. SPM also supports environments with arrays that are
managed manually (no automation through SMI-S or OO workflows). “Figure 1” on page 10 shows
the relationships between the applications, servers, and arrays comprising the overall SPM environment.
NOTE:
HP Insight Dynamics with infrastructure orchestration includes an embedded version of HP Operations
Orchestration (OO).
