4. Click the Add button.
The newly created entry displays in blue in the Constraints table. The default is set to Tag and
Required.
5. Use the list in the Constraint Type column to select the type of constraint to create.
Options are Tag, RAID, Capacity, Presentation, and Capabilities.
NOTE:
Constraints describe the properties of a storage volume that is the best fit for the storage
request and goals. These settings are used to filter the available storage volumes. When
fulfilling goals, storage volumes that match the constraints are suggested for fulfillment,
appearing on the Suggested Services tab. Those that do not match the constraints are listed
on the All Unbound Services tab but can be chosen to fulfill the goal. In that case, the
fulfillment is considered Nonconforming. See Fulfilling a goal on page 59. Keep this in
mind when setting constraints.
