11. To create settings for a Presentation type, the Volume Presentation Constraint dialog box displays:
NOTE:
SPM v1.0 and v1.1 supports Fibre Channel arrays only.
a. If you want to apply this constraint, select the Presented box; to save the information but not
apply it yet, leave the Presented box cleared.
b. Either leave the Logical Unit Number field set to Unspecified, or click the other radio button
and use the arrows in the Logical Unit Number field to select the LUN number for the volume.
c. Make the appropriate selection from the list in the Host Mode field.
d. To add to the Initiators table, click the Add button. The new entry appears in the next empty
row.
e. Select the Type from the list in the Type column.
f. Enter the correct Port ID into the Port ID field.
The Port ID identifies the port to which this storage is presented on the server.
g. In the Network/SAN Connectivity field, select the appropriate option from the list.
h. When the Presentation Constraint information is correct, click the OK button to return to the
New Goal dialog box.
12. To create a Capabilities constraint, the constraint value is automatically set to ChangePresentation.
(There is no Edit Value button for a Capabilities constraint, nor can you right-click and select Edit
Value.)
13. When the New Goal information is correct, click the OK button to save the properties.
