Procedure
1. In the navigation pane, select Host Volumes.
2. On the Replica Repository tab, select the replica to delete.
3. Select Actions > Delete.
The Delete Replica Repository window opens.
4. Follow the instructions in the window.
Deleting host volumes, host volume groups, and host disk devices
Delete a host volume, host volume group or host disk device on an enabled host.
Considerations
• You can use the GUI, jobs, or the CLUI. See Host volumes actions cross reference.

• Coordinating with host I/O
CAUTION: Unpresenting the virtual disks that underlie a host volume resource can result in
loss of data if not coordinated with the host's I/O.
Procedures
Deleting host volume resources using a GUI presentation action
1. In the navigation pane, select Virtual Disks.
The content pane displays virtual disks.
2. Click the List tab.
3. Select the presented virtual disks that underlie the host volume.
4. Unpresent the virtual disks from the enabled host. Procedure.
The host volume resource is deleted from the enabled host.
Deleting host volumes using job commands
1. Create a job and include the appropriate host volume commands. See DeleteHostVolume and
UnpresentStorageVolume. For more information on jobs, see the HP P6000 Replication Solutions
Manager Job Command Reference.
2. Run the job.
The host volume is deleted from the enabled host.
Editing replica properties
Edit the properties of a replica in the replica repository.
Considerations
• You can only use the GUI to edit the properties of a replica in the replica repository.
• The host volume replica repository contains only replicas that were created using the local
replication wizard.
Procedure
1. In the navigation pane, select Host Volumes.
2. On the Replica Repository tab, select the replica to edit.
