Considerations
You can use the GUI, jobs, or the CLUI. See Host volumes actions cross reference.
Look for running jobs and scripts.
CAUTION: Ensure that no jobs or scripts are running that involve the mounted volume.
Unmounting a volume while a job or script is running can cause job or script failures.
Verify impacted jobs and scripts.
CAUTION: After the volume is unmounted, jobs or scripts that involve the volume can fail or
not run correctly.
Procedure
This procedure uses the GUI.
1. In the navigation pane, select Host Volumes.
The content pane displays host volumes.
2. Click the List tab.
3. Select the host volume to unmount.
4. Select Actions > Unmount.
The Unmount Host Volume window appears.
5. Follow the instructions in the window.
