Working with virtual disks
About virtual disk resources
The Virtual Disks content pane displays the virtual disks (storage volumes) that you can interact
with through the replication manager. See GUI window Content pane.
Views
• Tabular list view. See Virtual disks list view.
• Graphical tree views. See: Virtual Disk tree view
Actions
• Actions in the GUI. See Virtual disks actions summary.
• You can also interact with storage systems from a job and the CLUI. See Virtual disks actions

Properties

Virtual disk actions summary
The following virtual disk actions are available on the content pane. Some actions have equivalent
CLUI commands. See Virtual disks actions cross reference.
• View Properties. View the properties of a virtual disk. Procedure.
• Edit Properties. Change the name of a virtual disk. Procedure.
• Delete. Deletes a virtual disk. Procedure.
• Add to Managed Set. Add a virtual disk to a managed set. Procedure.
• Remove from Managed Set. Remove a virtual disk from a managed set. Procedure.
• Remove from DR group. Remove a virtual disk from a DR group. Procedure.
• Add Presentations. Present a virtual disk to an enabled host. Procedure.
• Remove Presentations. Remove a virtual disk's presentation from an enabled host. Procedure.
• New DR Group. Create a new DR group pair. Procedure.
• New Container. Create a container. Procedure.
• New Snapshot. Create a point-in-time snapshot copy of a virtual disk. Procedure.
• Migrate. Migrate a virtual disk to a new disk group and/or change the Vraid level of the
virtual disk. Both operations can be performed simultaneously. Procedure
