HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager User Guide (T3680-96089, October 2012)

4 Enabled hosts
Working with enabled hosts
About enabled host resources
The Enabled Hosts content pane displays hosts that you can interact with. See GUI window Content
pane.
These are standard storage hosts that also are running the replication manager host agent. See
Enabled and standard hosts.
NOTE: VM servers are also included as enabled host resources although they differ from standard
enabled hosts. A host agent is installed on an enabled host providing the mechanism by which
HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager interacts with the host. A host agent is not installed on
a VM server. HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager recognizes a VM server but does not
interact with it directly to perform replication tasks. See VM servers for more information.
