Downloading the soft ware
To down load the software from the web:
1. Go to the HP Continuous Access EVA web site:

2. Click Softw
are & Drivers.
3. Download HP StorageWorks JREserver.
Installing JREserver
To install JREserver on the management server:
1. Close all applications that are on or open to the management server.
2. Open Windows Explorer and browse to the CD or to the directory where you downloaded the
software.
3. Double-click setup.exe to start the installation.
The InstallShield Wizard Welcome window appears.
4. Follow the instructions online to complete the installation.
When the soft ware is installed, the Install Shield Wizard Complete window appears.
Installing a JRE
To instal
l a JRE on a host that you will use to browse to HP Replication Solutio ns Manager:
1. Close all open browsers.
2. On the management server, enable sharing on the JR Eserver folder.
3. On the host, map to the drive on the ma nagement ser ver where the JREserver folder resides.
4. Copy th
e JRE that corresponds to the host's operating system onto the host.
5. Following standard operating system p rocedures, install the JRE on the host.
The JRE installation may prompt for a reboot of the host to ensure JRE functions pro p erly.
TheJREsresidewithinfoldersforspecific operating systems. For example, JREs for Windows operating
systems reside in the Windows folder.
