Configuring the FC4-16IP Blade

This chapter describes the initial setup required to deploy an iSCSI gateway solution. Install and

configure the FC4-16IP blade in a Brocade 48000 as described in the Brocade FC4-16IP Hardware

Reference Manual before performing these procedures.

NOTE

Only the Brocade 48000 with an iSCSI-enabled FC4-16IP blade running Fabric OS v5.2.0 or higher

supports the iSCSI gateway service.
