To configure WEBES/SEA to send an XML event callout to a particular host port pair where the
WEBESEventListener service is listening, complete the following steps on the WEBES/SEA installed
host:
1. Start the WEBES desta service at the command line using desta start. You can also start the
service from the Windows Start menu.
2. Enable OpsMgr 2007 support, by entering the following command: desta mom on
The system prompts you to enter host name and port of the system where you want to send the
XML callout information.
NOTE:
Turning desta mom OFF and ON displays the OpsMgr 2007 node name (IP address).

NOTE:
If you want to change the default TCP port number (8945), enter the new port number. After you install the WEBES
Listener installation, change the port number in the config.txt file located in the
C:\Program Files\HP\HP
Enterprise Storage
directory for a 32bit operating system, and
C:\Program Files(x86)\HP\HP Enterprise Storage
directory for a 64bit operating system. Stop and restart the WEBES Listener service.

WEBES (6.1 or later) sends event messages through XML report to a particular host and port.

running on both the system.
