WMI is installed by default in the supported operating systems.

Installing the Management Pack software
The HP Storage Management Pack software and documentation are bundled in a
T4282-10506-vx.x.zip file. This file is located at the following website: www.hp.com/go/
storageworks/scom2007
The T4282-10506-vx.x.zip file, contains the following files:
• HP Storage Management Pack for System Center.zip
• HP Storage WEBESListener for System Center.zip
• HPStorageManagementPackforSystemCenterUserGuide-2.0.pdf (User Guide)
Each zip file contains the following files:
• setup.ini
• setup.exe
• an appropriate.msi file

Installing the Management Pack software
Complete the following steps to install the HP Storage Management Pack for System
Center.msi file on the system that you have designated as an OpsMgr 2007 Management Server:
1. Unzip the HP Storage Management Pack for System Center.zip file.
2. Navigate to the unzipped folder, and run setup.exe or double-click on the.msi file. This starts
the Installation wizard, as shown in Figure 5.
