Patches and Fixes in this Version

The following changes have been made to EMS A.03.10:

• Double-clicking a monitoring request from the main screen will now

result in the action of Modify. In the past, the action was to View.

• The monitoring requests on the main screen are now sorted

alphabetically.

• When it applies, an asterisk (*), representing All Instances is now

the ﬁrst item listed on the Add or Copy Monitoring Request

screen. It used to be the last item listed.

• The order of the Resource Classes and Resource Instances on the Add

or Copy Monitoring Request screen is different than in the past.

JAGab04579 Problem: The EMS GUI running in character mode on

HP-UX 11.0 would not show resources when

attempting an Add operation. When running on

HP-UX 10.20 or 11.0 in GUI mode, resources would

sometimes be missing for the Add operation as well.

Resolution: Update to EMS version A.03.10.

JAGab04501 Problem: OPC notiﬁcation sends the wrong message

for some Normal conditions. If the threshold condition

is not met and either the initial or return notiﬁcation

is being sent, then Problem is being sent in the

message when Normal should have been sent.

Resolution: Update to EMS version A.03.10.
