Setting Description
Job: Job name.
Descr: Description of the job.
Directory: Directory that is managed by FMA.
Log File: Specifies a log file.
The log file must be specified with a fully qualified path. Log files are created with the
following (fixed) policies:
• The default name of the log file is jobname plus the extension .log.
• Maximum size of a log file is 4 MB. If the files grows bigger than 4 MB, the file receives
the extension .000.
• Old log files are named as JobName.nnn, where the lowest number contains the
youngest file:
JobName.log -> JobName.000 -> JobName.001 -> ...
Ignore Files: Files that correspond to these descriptions are excluded from the job operations (comma
separates).
Default:
• \System Volume Information
• \HSM Volume Information
Verbose: Write informational messages to log file.
If the Verbose option is not selected, only error messages are written to the log file.
