3. Replace the default text with the following entries:

check mark in the box. This will be the name that will b e displayed with
the icon for this Director or Edge Switch in the HAFM Product View and
Fabric View is displaye d.
Description Enter the address of your installation.
Location Enter the W FM Site ID and Super Region code, as obtained
in Obtaining required information, separated by “~” (tilde) characters,
asshowninthefollowingexample

Contact Enter the contact name, phone number, and company name
exactly as provided to HP in Obtaining required information, separated by
“~” (tilde) characters, as follows:
FirstName~LastName~PhoneNumber~CompanyName
For example:

4. Click Ac tivate. The Configure Identification dialog box closes and the Element
Manager window at the Hardware View for this device is still displayed.
5. On the menu bar, click Maintenance>EnableCallHomeNotication .
6. PlaceacheckmarkintheEnableCallHomeEventNotica tion option.

Configuring proactive services call home via LAN feature
The H AFM appliance call home via L AN feature provides automatic event notification
to a suppor t center for reporting Director or Edge Switch problems. In order to report
events, this feature requires the HA FM appliance to have a valid LAN connection to a
