Invalid port address. Invalid port address has
been entered.
Verify port address through the
Configure Addresses–“Active
dialog box (FICON management
style only) and reenter.
Invalid port number. The port number must be
within a range of ports for
the specific director or
switch model.
Enter a port number within the
correct range.
Invalid port swap. Port swap selection is not
allowed.
Ensure that each port selected for
swap has not been previously
swapped.
Invalid response received
from switch.
An error occurred at the
switch during a firmware
download operation.
Retry the firmware download
operation. If the problem persists,
contact the next level of support.
Invalid response received
from director.
An error occurred at the
director during a
firmware download
operation.
Retry the firmware download
