Show Zone Members
Click to display the Show Zone Members dialog box. This dialog box displays a
tree of all products in the fabric in the left panel. Click an icon by a product to
expand the list of attached nodes. Select a node and the WWNs or nicknames (if
configured) of nodes that are members of the same zone as the selected node
display in the right panel. Refer to Chapter 6, for details on zoning and zoning
configuration.
Topology View Area
Click a fabric WWN (this is the WWN of the fabrics principal switch) or the
fabric name (persisted fabrics only) in the Fabric Tree to display the products and
ISL connections included the multiswitch fabric in the Topology tab view area.
By default, only the products (switches and directors) in the fabric display. For
details on the product icons, refer to “Icon Description” on page 88.
In multiswitch fabrics (fabrics consisting of two or more switches), interswitch
links (ISLs) between each product are represented by a solid black line. If more
than one ISL exists between switches, the line is thicker. Menu options, available
when you right-click icons, ISLs, and the view area of this tab, allow you to
determine status of switches and ISLs, display fabric properties, adjust the fabric
display in the tab, show routes between nodes in the fabric, determine fabric
changes over time by creating persistent fabrics, open Product Managers for
specific switches, and perform other tasks. For details on these options, refer to
Available Menu Bar Options” on page 117.
Fly-Over Display
When Fly-Over Display is enabled (View menu on menu bar), move the cursor
over fabric products in the tab’s view area to display the product’s WWN over the
product icon. Moving the cursor over the ISL lines between products displays the
actual number of ISLs between the products.
Disable the fly-over display by selecting and removing the check mark by the
Enable Fly-Over Display option.
