Enterprise Fabric Mode
This option is active only if the SANtegrity feature key is installed on each switch
in the fabric. For general instructions on enabling feature keys, refer to Chapter 3
in the appropriate Product Manager user manual for your switch or director
product. Choose this option to display the Enterprise Fabric Mode dialog box.
Use this dialog box to enable and disable Enterprise Fabric mode. Activating
Enterprise Fabric Mode automatically enables the following features and
operating parameters:
Fabric Binding — SANtegrity feature.
Switch Binding — SANtegrity feature.
Rerouting Delay — Parameter available through the Configure Switch
Parameters dialog box. Refer to “Enable/Disable and Online State
Functions” on page 183 for more information.
Domain RSCNs — Parameter available through the Configure Switch
Parameters dialog box. Refer to “Enable/Disable and Online State
Functions” on page 183 for more information.
Insistent Domain ID — Parameter available through the Configure Switch
Parameters dialog box. Refer to “Enable/Disable and Online State
Functions” on page 183 for more information.

Fabric Binding
This option is only active if the SANtegrity feature key is installed on each in the
fabric. For general instructions on enabling feature keys, refer to Chapter 3 in the
Product Manager user manual for your switch or director product. Once
SANtegrity is installed and enabled, you can configure fabric binding for a
specific fabric by selecting the fabric in Fabrics tab, then selecting Fabric
Binding option from the Fabrics menu. This displays the Fabric Binding dialog
box. Use this dialog box to enable and disable Fabric Binding and restrict
unspecified switches from attaching to the selected fabric.
