Using the Products View

■ Download firmware.
■ Perform other configuration and monitoring tasks specific to the product.
Note: A maximum of eight remote users (in addition to the local HAFM server user)
can concurrently access Product Managers for a specific product.
The HAFM window is still available as a separate window when a Product
Manager is open. You can drag the Product Manager window away from the
HAFM window and view both on your desktop. You can also minimize each
window.
To return to the HAFM, choose Close from the Close menu in the Product
Manager.
Refer to the appropriate Product Manager user guide for your switch or director
model for information on using the Product Manager.
Available Tool Bar Options
The following options are enabled on the tool bar at the top of the HAFM window
when you select a product in the view to select it. For information on tool bar
options that are not enabled, refer to “Tool Bar” on page 47.
■ New Product — This performs the same function as the New option in the
view pop-up menu by adding a managed product to the HAFM. Refer to
“New Product” on page 90 for details.
■ Open Product — This opens the Product Manager application for the product.
Refer to “Accessing a Product Manager” on page 94 for details.
■ Properties — This opens the Properties dialog box for the product. Refer to
“Properties” on page 93 for details.
■ Product Name and Network Address drop-down list — These options
perform the same functions as the Display Options available through the
view pop-up menu. Refer to “Display Options” on page 91 for details.
■ Show Zoning Library — This displays the Zoning Library dialog box. Refer
to “Zoning Library” on page 142 for complete information.
