Installing anti-virus sof tware

A Norton AntiVirus software CD-ROM is included in the HAFM appliance kit c ontents to

provide virus pro

tection for the HAFM appliance.

To install the ant

i-virus software:

1. Press the left edg

e(PUSHlabel)atthefrontoftheHAFMapplianceoftheLCD

panel to disengage the panel and expose the CD-RW drive.

2. Insert Norton A

ntiVirus softwar e CD-ROM into the CD-RW dr ive and close

the LCD panel.

3. Follow the instructio ns provided on-screen to comp lete the installation and

activate the anti-virus application.

NOTE:

Once you have installed the software, you should obtain regular updates to

the application and virus data files from the software vendor. See the vendor

documentati

on and help files for more information.

Configurin

g HAFM appliance names

To configure the HAFM appliance name and workgroup name:

1. Click Start > Setting s > Control Panel at the Windows 2000 desktop.

The Control Panel window is displayed.

2. Double-click the System icon. The System Properties dialog box is displayed

with the General tab selected as the default.

3. Click the Network Id entification tab. The System Properties dialog box is

displayed with the Network Identification tab open ( Figure 41).
