Usage guidelines
When all types of ATM debugging are enabled, a large amount of output information is generated. ATM
debugging may also disable users from managing network devices through terminals and may decrease
the packet forwarding performance considerably.
Besides outputting debugging information such as ATM errors, OAM, events, and packets, this
command also displays information exchanged between upper-layer software and hardware interfaces
(for example, PVC parameters information sent to the hardware when a PVC is created). Run this
command if you need to view the information exchanged through drive interfaces between platform
software and bottom-level hardware.
