Description
Process DHCP snooping security item,
type is type, operate is operation-type.
DHCP snooping processed DHCP snooping entries.
DHCP snooping entry type:
• 0—No entry.
• 1—Static entry.
• 2—Temporary dynamic entry.
• 3—Valid dynamic entry.
• 7—Dynamic entry, including 2 and 3.
• 8—Valid entry, including 1 and 3.
• 9—All entries.
DHCP snooping operation type:
• 0—Create.
• 1—Destroy.
• 2—Add.
• 3—Delete.
• 4—Update.
• 5—Age.
• 6—Delete based on type.
• 7—Delete based on interface.
• 8—Deleted based on IP address.
• 9—Display.
Examples
# Enable all types of debugging for DHCP snooping. When a DHCP client requests an IP address
through the DHCP snooping device, output similar to the following example is generated:
