Parameters
seconds: Sets the physical state change suppression interval on the CPOS interface, in the range of 0 to
10 seconds. The default is 0 seconds.
Usage guidelines
This command prevents frequent link state changes on an interface from affecting ongoing services.
The actual physical state change suppression interval might have a delay of 0 to 5 seconds:
By default, the actual physical state change suppression interval takes a value from 0 to 5 seconds.
If the seconds argument is set to a value between 1 and 5 seconds, the actual physical state change
suppression interval takes a value from 5 to 10 seconds.
If the seconds argument is set to a value between 6 and 10 seconds, the actual physical state
change suppression interval takes a value from 10 to 15 seconds.
Examples
# Set the physical state change suppression interval to 8 seconds on interface CPOS 2/0/0.
