Usage guidelines
Fast forwarding is supported on only Layer 3 Ethernet interfaces of routers configured with SAP modules.
Fast forwarding takes effect only when both the receive and send interfaces are enabled with fast
forwarding.
Enabling or disabling fast forwarding on an Ethernet interface of a SAP module restores all
configurations of the interface to the default.
