• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x, 6.x, and 7.x (recommended)
• Mozilla 1.x
• Firefox 1.x
and 2.x
The RISS Web Interface ca n be accessed from a client desktop using regular http protocol as well
as secure http protocol (https), for better protection during the authentication. The RISS We b UI now
supports secure http by default. If you use regular http, you will be redirected automatically to secure
https p rotocol. Once logged in, you can used regular ht tp if needed.
To access the RISS Web Interface:
1. In the Address field of your web browser, enter the URL (web address) that was provided to you by
your syst
em administrator. The web browser displays a login screen.
2. Enter yo
ur user name and password. Both fields are case-sensitive. Click Login.TheSimple
Search page is displayed.
3. To log out, click LogOut in the toolbar.
