Instructions to troubleshoot Ibrix client
registration
Solution ID: 109

DETAILS:
It appears you have manually installed and registered the client correctly. However, you
receive error report saying you cannot communicate between hosts. What has
happened here?
Things to Check:
Can you ping between hosts okay?
Do you have the correct rpm's installed on the client?
Run: rpm -qa | grep -i ibrix
o This should list the client and FS rpm's.
Are you blocking the Ibrix ports with iptables or selinux?
Run: iptables –L
Are there any DROP policies listed for ports?
o If so, disable iptables with “/etc/init.d/iptables stop”
Run: getenforce
Also, if selinux is enabled, disable it
with “setenforce 0”. Working through this list should
help you resolve your host communication issue.
