5.5 Synchronizing the insight management MIB update kit and PSP versions
(optional)
This task is optional.
The Insight Management MIB (Management Information Block) update kit for Systems Insight
Manager for Linux contains all the necessary MIB files to update Systems Insight Manager or
any other MIB tool to have the current support for ProLiant servers.
TIP: A best practice is to keep the MIB and PSP versions synchronized for all components and
tools that use them.
HP recommends that you download and install the MIB that corresponds to the PSP version
supported by this release so that Systems Insight Manager recognizes alerts from the hardware
for which the PSP contains drivers.
