6.4 Settings for Systems Insight Manager discovery options
This task is recommended; however, Insight Control for Linux will work regardless of whether or
not you complete this task.
To set the Systems Insight Manager discovery options that are required for Insight Control for Linux,
follow these steps:
1. Select the following menu item from the Systems Insight Manager GUI:
Options→Discovery...
2. Under the For all automatic discoveries: list, click the link for Configure general settings.
3. As shown in Figure 5, unselect the following Systems Insight Manager discovery options:
• Automatically discover a server when its Integrated Lights Out management processor is
identified
• Discover systems in an enclosure when Onboard Administrator is discovered
