HP Insight Control for Linux 7.0 Installation Guide

3.4.1.2 Verify that required OS RPMs are installed
Verify that all RPM package dependencies are installed on the CMS.
The Insight Control for Linux installation process verifies RPM dependencies and alerts you if an
RPM is missing on the CMS.
However, before you install Insight Control for Linux, HP recommends that you use the RPMs listed
in the following OS-specific tables to verify whether or not the required RPMs are installed on the
CMS:
Table 3 lists RPM requirements for all supported Linux operating systems
Table 4 and Table 5 list RPM requirements that are specific to RHEL
Table 7 and Table 8 list RPM requirements that are specific to SLES
If one or more required RPMs are not installed, install them now.
NOTE: Be aware that some RPM dependencies also have dependencies on other RPMs.
